Tour Information Panel - Why Get Involved?

Good afternoon NARI Family,

I know many of you have been weighing whether to invest in submitting a home for this year's Tour, so I wanted to share some important updates.

We have rescheduled the tour to April 3rd & 4th, 2027. The date was changed for several reasons. Some builders had homes that were almost ready, but not quite in time to have photography available for the tour guide. A minimum of eight homes is required for a successful and relevant tour.  Additionally, the Austin NARI fall calendar is quite full, and this adjustment will help reduce the pressure on builders’ time and resources toward year‑end.  

To support next year’s planning, we will host a General Membership Tour Information Panel Meeting on November 11 to generate interest and answer questions from prospective first‑time entrants. Members who have hosted Tour homes will discuss the experience, costs, preparation, and resulting client interest from their previous tour entries. At that time we will also present changes the tour committee has implemented for the next tour, including using Eventbrite for our ticketing platform, a dedicated page on the Austin NARI website with an interactive map, lower ticket pricing with new purchasing options, increased social media investment, and new promotional partnerships. We anticipate this will help build a larger list of participating homes, resulting in a more compelling experience for attendees.

January 15, 2027: Tour Entry Deadline  

January 25: Paperwork submittal deadline  

February 2: First Builders' Meeting 

February 12: Final photography and tour home summary deadline: 

March 9: Second Builders' Meeting

April 1:  Kickoff party

April 3 & 4: 21st Tour of Remodeled Homes
