Job Summary
We are seeking an Installer to work on closet systems and garage cabinets. This position requires a positive attitude, someone who is presentable to clients, and who will work will with the team. Installers report to the Lead Installer and Operations Manager and are responsible for the timely and mistake-free installation of closet, garage, and office organization products and cabinetry.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of carpentry/construction experience of any type, preferably in a related industry, is reliable with attention to detail, a team player mindset, and a self-starter who is a proactive worker and finds work to be done.
Full time, part time, contract all considered.
Duties
• Conducts in-home installation of company products
• Conducts in-home installation repairs, as needed
• Provides friendly and knowledgeable service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Completes and submits installation paperwork on a daily basis
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work as a team member and problem solve
• Ability to use commercial shop equipment and tools
• Complies with and follows all safety regulations
Requirements
• General construction knowledge with 1 year of carpentry or construction experience preferred
• Reliable transportation, valid DL with clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening are a requirement
• Able to lift over 50 pounds
• Be proactive and achieve competency in your skill sets.
• Clean and touch-up every closet/garage system prior to leaving the customer’s home
• Non-smoking (Preferred)
Compensation
Installed jobs will be paid at a commission rate of 7-105% of total job price, depending on difficulty level and prep work required. For example, a $10,000 ticket would pay out $700-$1000 total for labor.
